Michael Yi is the editor-in-chief at Monarch Student Newspaper and a rising senior at Portola High School in Irvine, California. He is incredibly passionate about journalism and writing as he participated in last year’s Stanford Daily Winter Journalism Workshop and writes music reviews on rateyourmusic. Aside from writing, you’ll likely find him listening to music, practicing the violin/guitar, or eating an acai bowl.
